The 6th International Thyroid NOTES Conference was held on 12–14 June 2024, continuing its collaboration with the Department of Otolaryngology, Chulalongkorn Hospital, Chulalongkorn University. For this edition the conference was extended to a three-day format to provide more comprehensive, in-depth education in TOETVA and transoral robotic thyroidectomy (TORT), as well as ultrasound-guided thermal ablation. The scientific program covered detailed aspects of clinical practice — indications, preoperative preparation, surgical techniques and postoperative management — and the cadaveric workshop ran 16 stations across the hands-on day (48 participants).
Venue. Day 1: full-day lectures, Police General Hospital. Day 2: lectures and live demonstration plus an ultrasound-guided microwave needle ablation workshop (model), Police General Hospital. Day 3: hands-on cadaveric workshop (TOETVA, 16 stations × 3 participants) and ultrasound-guided microwave ablation on cadaveric models, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital.
