The 5th International Thyroid NOTES Conference was held on 8–9 June 2023. It continued its collaboration with the Department of Otolaryngology, Chulalongkorn Hospital, Chulalongkorn University, enabling participants to engage in hands-on training in transoral endoscopic thyroidectomy via the vestibular approach (TOETVA) using soft cadavers. Owing to high demand, the cadaveric workshop was expanded to 16 stations — the largest cadaveric dissection program organised for the conference up to that time.
Venue. Day 1: Auditorium Room, 9th Floor, Chalermprakiat Maharachinee Building, Police General Hospital. Day 2 morning: 12th Floor, Bhumisiri Mangkhalanusorn Building; afternoon: practice TOETVA in cadaver (16 stations), 4th Floor, Padtayapatana Building, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital.
